Step 1: Generate Client Id and Secret in Personio

Log in to your Personio instance as an admin user and select "Settings" in the lower left corner.

Select "API credentials" under "Integrations".
​

Select "Generate new credentials" in the upper right corner.
​

Give the credentials a name, select "Other" for Integration, select Employees "Read" checkbox, and choose "Select all" under "Readable employee attributes".
​

Click on the credentials and copy the Client Id and the Secret.
