While it is always great to encourage recognition of top performances and going above and beyond, it is also critical to uncover those that do a great job everyday. To help you with this we have Recognition Polls.
What is a poll?
A poll is a really simple but powerful way of identifying top talent and performers. A poll is an open ended question which employees vote on to pick a winner.
When the poll closes the person with the most votes is the winner and is published in the Celebration activity feed.
How do I create one?
Step One: Enter the Celebration hub and select 'Create Poll'.
Step Two: Fill out the details on the 'Create a poll' pop up.
Give your poll a name. If you're stuck for ideas, select Inspire Me
Write a description for the poll to explain why it's being run
Pick a trophy for the poll
Add any relevant company values
Select the voting period, you can choose from one day, three days, seven days, or a specific end date
Select the sharing settings. You can choose to share the poll to the whole company, or just within a team
Select whether to show in-progress poll results. You can set this so everyone can see the results, or only admins and managers can see them
Publish settings. You can decide whether to automatically publish the results when the poll ends, or publish at a later date
Choose whether to let participants vote anonymously
Step Three: Once the poll has been created, your employees will receive a notification to cast their vote and they can do this by entering the Celebration hub and selecting 'Cast your vote'.
When does it end and what happens?
You can configure the end date to be whenever you like, all polls end at 17:00 GMT on the day selected. The winner will be emailed once it closes along with being put into the recent activity feed.
