To explain how the Earn points or Save % Perks work, let's take the Tesco gift card Perk for example.

You can choose to either receive a number of Flexi points and pay the regular price for the gift card, or you can choose to get a 4% discount off the total price of the gift card.

The reason someone might want to choose to earn points could be that they already have a certain number of Flexi points on their account, but they need more in order to redeem them on a voucher they want to buy.

Let's say you have 90 Flexi points on your account, and you want to purchase a £10 Just Eat voucher. You need 10 more Flexi points to be able to get it. So you can buy a Tesco gift card, earn 10 Flexi points, and then be able to afford the Just Eat voucher!
