Recognitions created on Teams will appear both on the Perkbox platform and within Teams (in the conversation or channel where it was created). By following these steps, you can effectively use Microsoft Teams in conjunction with Perkbox to recognise and celebrate your colleagues, fostering a positive and appreciative workplace culture.
Step One: Access Perkbox on Microsoft Teams and celebrate your colleagues:
Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the Perkbox app. You may need to add it from the Teams app store if you don't see it. Select the three dots (more options) in the left-hand sidebar, search for Perkbox, and add it.
Step Two: Navigate to the Appreciation section:
Go to the 'Appreciation' heading on the left-hand side of the 'Your Team' section.
Step Three: Start a post in the Appreciate Channel or any channel you wish:
In the Appreciate channel, select 'Start a Post' located at the bottom of the screen and highlighted in blue.
Step Four: Add Perkbox to your post:
Before writing your celebration or appreciation post, select the '+' button at the bottom left of the screen, then select 'Perkbox'.
Step Five: Log in to Perkbox:
If you haven't already, log in using your Perkbox credentials. This step only needs to be completed once, after which your Perkbox will be linked to Teams for easier and quicker celebrations.
Step Six: Fill out the Recognition details:
Complete all the required information, including who you wish to celebrate, what they did, any company celebrations, and any values.
Step Seven: Submit your Recognition:
Select 'Recognise' highlighted in blue, to complete the recognition.
