We’ve already taken the first step towards making points on Perkbox simpler to understand and use, now we’re onto the next — introducing the ability to spend Flexi points and Reward points together.

What does this mean?

If your organisation uses Flexi and Reward points, starting March 12th, your employees will be able to combine them to purchase gift cards and merchandise.

For example, if an employee has leftover Reward points but not enough to get a voucher, they can now combine their Reward and Flexi points to redeem Flexi perks or gift cards.

How are points redeemed?

By default, we will always use Flexi points first as they have an expiry of 12 months. Any remaining balance will come from Reward points, which don’t expire.

For example, if you have 50 Flexi points but need 55 to get a freebie on Perkbox, then you can use any remaining Reward points to redeem.

We’ll always use Flexi points first to ensure no points go to waste, as long as your employees remember to use them before they expire. The good news is, we’ll keep reminding them to spend their points.

Why are we doing this:

  • Easier experience for your team

No more wasting time on getting multiple vouchers from separate catalogues for the same purchase. All your teams now need to do is go to our catalogue, pick an item they want and the points will be automatically combined for them.

  • Never wasting another point

We know some employees forget they have points, or may be saving their Flexi points for something big. Now, with the ability to use both points together, they can access higher-value vouchers.

  • Making things easier for you

We’ve heard from you that employees sometimes aren’t sure what the different points mean and come to you with questions. This means time out of your day that you could be spending on more valuable activities.

How do we communicate this to teams?

Don’t worry - we will send your team communications about this to ensure they know they can now use points together.

In the meantime, here are some resources you can already use:
