Culture hub: Notifications

To make it easy for you to keep your employees on track with any updates you publish on your Culture hub, we've released a new feature that will allow you to notify all of your employees at once in just one click.

How the Notification Feature Works:

When you create or edit an update in Culture Hub, you’ll see an option to notify your employees. Simply check the box to send a notification:

To avoid sending these notifications by mistakes, we will send you a validation prompt before you proceed:

After confirming your choice, Perkbox will save your update and send a notification to all employees.

If you've already sent a notification about a post on your Culture hub, you can send a new notification once you make an update to the existing post.

Who will get notified and how?

Notifications will typically be sent within an hour of your confirmation.

Note: once a notification is confirmed, it cannot be paused or unsent

Employees will receive notifications via:

  • Their email is registered with Perkbox

  • A push notification through the Perkbox mobile app (if installed)

  • The in-platform notification centre

Once your employees receive a notification and click on it, they will be directed straight to the Culture hub where they can view the latest updates.

FAQs

  1. Can I stop a notification from being sent?
    No, once a notification is confirmed, it will be sent.

  2. Can I resend a notification?
    Yes, you can choose to send another notification next time you update the same Culture hub tile.

  3. Can I see who received the notification?
    This feature is not available at the moment. The notifications go out to all employees who are signed up to Perkbox.

  4. Can I send notifications to a select group of employees?

    Currently, notifications can only be sent to all employees.
