Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) with ADFS allows employees to access Perkbox using their existing company login details.
This setup is completed in two parts:
Configuring a relying party trust in ADFS
Uploading the Perkbox metadata file
Before you begin, make sure you have admin access in Perkbox and access to your organisation’s AD FS Management console.
Configure a Relying Party Trust in ADFS
Step one – Open the AD FS Management console.
Step two – Select Relying Party Trusts from the left-hand menu.
Step three – In the right-hand panel, select Add Relying Party Trust… to open the AD FS Relying Party Trust Wizard.
Step four – Select Claims aware, then select Start.
Download the Perkbox metadata file
After signing in to Perkbox, go to the admin portal then select Integrations > Single Sign-On > Get started > SAML or OpenID > Get started with WorkOS.
You'll find detailed steps to set up the integration, and can download the SP Metadata file from here. You’ll use this file in the next step.
Import the metadata file into ADFS
Step one – In the AD FS Relying Party Trust Wizard, select Import data about the relying party from a file.
Step two – Upload the SP Metadata file you downloaded from Perkbox, then select Next.
Step three – When prompted, select Permit everyone, then select Next to continue.
Finish the setup in Perkbox
To complete the integration, return to Perkbox. After signing in to the admin portal, go to Integrations and follow the on-screen steps to complete the SSO setup.
